The Bootstaps

is a partnership of two musicians dedicated to the premise that if you love what you do, and you do it well by way of blood, sweat, and tears, the love of the music will shine through.

From the band’s inception, the duo decided to take all that they learned throughout their individual and combined musical endeavors and apply it to everything they do.

Johnny Larkin (lead vocals, harmonica, percussion) reveals his many musical influences through several instruments ranging from acoustic and electric guitars, to crate style and slap-top cajons, to his most accomplished mode of musical expression, the harmonica - also known as the mouth ‘harp’. He is a dedicated performer of rock, blues, metal, and fusion styles that blend into a mix of tone and feel that come alive on stage.
